Internet speed requirements

General bandwidth guidance per stream and how to test your connection.

Updated

Requirements depend on the stream quality and how many connections are in use at the same time.

  • SD: about 5 Mbps per stream
  • HD: about 10 Mbps per stream
  • 4K: about 25 Mbps per stream

Testing

Run a speed test on the device you stream on, at the time you usually watch. Stability (low jitter, no packet loss) matters as much as speed.
