When movies stop working but you're not sure why, work through these checks in order. They start with the quickest fixes.
1. Check your account
- Confirm your subscription hasn't expired: renewing restores access with the same login.
- Check you're not exceeding your connections: stop playback on other devices and try again.
- Re-enter your login details exactly as in your welcome email: they are case-sensitive.
2. Check the app
- Make sure you used the Xtream Codes login. With an M3U playlist, some apps don't show a movie section at all.
- Refresh or reload the playlist so the app downloads the latest library.
- Clear the app's cache or data, or reinstall it.
- Update the app to the latest version from your device's app store.
3. Check the device
- Restart the device fully (unplug TVs and streaming sticks for 30 seconds).
- Free up storage: low storage can stop artwork and libraries from loading.
- Check the date and time are set automatically; wrong clocks can break secure connections.
4. Check the network
- Restart your router.
- Try a different network (for example, a phone hotspot) to rule out your connection.
- If you use a VPN or ad-blocking DNS, temporarily turn it off to test.
